"The Expiring Bush Tax Cuts!" ( the new ) "What Now Cartoon"
Giant U.S. companies and their multi-millionaire CEO's have stepped up their lobbying to block Democrats' plans to let the Bush tax cuts on wealthier Americans expire at the end of this year. They say letting the Bush tax cuts expire will choke off the economic recovery, that the tax cuts create jobs.
Well, where are the jobs?
For the almost ten years that they have been in effect the nation has lost more than
2.5 million manufacturing jobs and more than 850,000 professional service and information center jobs.
